It’s interesting to hear from an independent-minded Social Democrat. I was curious about the Christian symbol on his T-shirt. Maybe Jan Emanuel is part of some Christian movement?
The problem with sensible Social Democrats is that they also serve as ”decoys” for the SAP during elections. After all, there’s probably not much room within the party for their ideas.
According to some, Jan Emanuel comes across as somewhat overbearing and authoritarian, which he seems to try to balance out with certain politically correct views, even though some of his views are actually not politically correct. The question is what he really thinks and feels, and what he’s after.
In essence, it is true to some extent that the old Social Democracy had some sensible goals. The problem was—and still is—simply that its foundation is Marxist and left-wing. Sooner or later, that kind of crap will poison society as a whole.
Jan Emanuel's history may give reason to suspect that his alleged views and actions are in fact motivated by reasons entirely different from those he seems to want us to believe.
What kind of guy is he?
