Katja Nyberg to FrihetsNytt: ”Denies crime & continues with Ambition Sweden even if convicted”

Freedom News' Tor-Björn Richthoff Änglasjö called Katja Nyberg for a comment on the charges currently being brought against her. Does she deny the crime, will she continue with politics even if she is convicted in the upcoming trial and will she remain in Ambition Sweden? She answers this in a unique statement to Frihetsnytt.

Member of Parliament Katja Nyberg, former SD, now a political savage and involved in Ambition Sweden, was yesterday charged with a variety of crimes: two cases of minor drug offenses, three cases of drug offenses, one case of drunk driving and two cases of aggravated driving. The full indictment can be read at the bottom of the article.

The summons states that Nyberg is alleged to have used cocaine on at least 4 occasions, esctasy on at least 3 occasions and amphetamine on at least 1 occasion.

Katja Nyberg denies any crime

In the police interrogation of Nyberg, she has denied any crime, a line she maintained when Frihetsnytt called her on Tuesday afternoon.

- I deny any crime, nothing is clear, says Katja to Frihetsnytt.

When Frihetsnytt mentions that the drugs were found in the tests done on her hair, she confirms it but maintains that she has not committed any crime. Furthermore, Nyberg says that there are very ”many people in Parliament who have been convicted of crimes”.

Remains in Ambition Sweden - even if she is convicted

Frihetsnytt asked whether Nyberg will continue with politics and remain involved in politics even if she is convicted in the upcoming trial.

- I have no comment on that at the moment. But that is my thought and I have talked to Elsa and Bo about it, says Nyberg to Frihetsnytt and refers to Ambition Sweden's party leader Elsa Widding and deputy leader of the party Bo Hansson.

Frihetsnytt has invited both Elsa Widding and Katja Nyberg to an interview on our channel where they can talk about why they chose to get involved in Ambition Sweden and a lot of other current issues. Both have agreed to an interview. Frihetsnytt appreciates this and believes it is important that we talk to each other - not about each other.

  1. Does Katja Nyberg have an ace up her sleeve?
Otherwise, there might be a bit of a bad atmosphere around the Ambition Sweden party, especially among those who see the party as an alternative to the established button-pushing parliamentary parties.
