The Kremlin has long insisted that the war in Ukraine is merely a ”special military operation.” Now, however, spokesperson Dmitry Peskov openly admits that, in practice, it is a full-scale war.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has for the first time openly admitted that Russia’s military operation in Ukraine is now a full-scale war. According to Peskov, it began as a ”special military operation”, but has escalated into a full-scale war due to Western support for Ukraine.
In an interview with the Russian state television network VGTRK, Peskov said:
”Do you know why? It started as a special military operation. It’s continuing as a war because Berlin, Paris, The Hague, Oslo, and—unfortunately—Washington are backing Kyiv.”

The continuation of the Great Patriotic War, 80 years ago.

And Sweden is on the wrong side of history again.
Peskov is absolutely right—it's time for Russia to put an end to Zelensky and his cronies in the West.
