First, a climate protest in Almedalen. Then a flight to Dallas. Now anger is mounting against Thomas Stenström, who is accused of preaching climate ethics to others—but doing the exact opposite himself.
Thomas Stenström organized during Almedalen Week the protest event ”We Are Sweden,” while at the same time Jimmie Åkesson gave a speech. Around the same time, he signed a climate petition calling on politicians to transition to a ”sustainable society.”.
Just a few days later, Stenström was in Dallas to visit the Swedish national team during the World Cup. That caused the criticism to explode.
The Minister's Harsh Rebuke
Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard got right to the point X:
”The same Thomas Stenström who was just in Visby launching a climate campaign. Preach a moral lesson first, then fly!”
To The Express She elaborated on her criticism:
– But maybe you shouldn't be the first to cast a stone in the climate culture war if you're flying across the Atlantic just two days later.
”Self-proclaimed champions of morality”
Others also came down hard on the artist. The former Moderate Party (now, in practice, Sweden Democrats) member of the Riksdag Arin Karapet writes on X that Stenström first gained media attention for the climate concert and then flew to the U.S.
”These self-appointed champions of morality show just how out of touch with reality the Swedish cultural elite really is.”, he writes.
Another one X-profile Stenström calls him an ”obvious hypocrite” who ”flies all over the U.S. while preaching ”flight shame’ to everyone else.”.
The celebrity petition backfires
Stenström's Almedalen rally was described as a show of support for the climate and against the Sweden Democrats. But after the trip to Dallas, the picture has changed.
For critics, the trip became a textbook example of the cultural elite’s double standards: first taking the stage to demand that others make changes, only to then fly across the Atlantic themselves when it suits them.

Celebrity???
I've never heard of this guy KLÄGG, but he's not the first person who doesn't practice what he preaches—we have an entire political party that doesn't practice what it preaches either, with gas-guzzling diesel vehicles, and toxic boat paint, to name a few examples. But this entire party is built on a metaphor called “the climate,” which is really nothing but a complete scam—yet for those idiots, it’s a party worth voting for!!! Absolutely unbelievable!!!
But there are plenty of gullible people who buy just about anything without even thinking, and it is these people who enable parties that are out of touch with reality to exist.
What about that famous ”Hockey Stick”??? A veritable scam that made Al Gore a millionaire—well, anyone with an IQ of 70 or higher can see this for what it is: what a damn hypocrisy it is. “It’s a pity about the people,” as old A. Strindberg said!!!
The worst World Cup song of all time, an incredibly overrated artist, and a massive Oasis complex—since his biggest dream seems to be to look like Liam Gallagher. A politically correct knight without a shred of shame
Stenström is a despicable hypocrite and a completely worthless artist—I don't understand why people pay to watch that mess.
