Police are investigating a suspected murder in Borås and are now appealing to the public for help. A young man was found dead on a sidewalk next to Sven Eriksonsgymnasiet on January 4, 2024.
The death is being investigated as a homicide, but the police have so far had difficulty obtaining crucial information. They are now focusing on a pair of unusual shoes that may have been worn by someone in the Sjuhärad area around the turn of the year 2023/2024.
Seeking witnesses regarding special shoes
According to the police, the shoes in question are a model similar to the Nike Zoom Superrep 2 or similar shoes. Colors and sizes may vary, but it is this specific model that the police are particularly interested in.
– We would like to get in touch with anyone who may have seen someone wearing this type of shoe in the area, states the police.
Anyone with information that may be relevant to the investigation is encouraged to come forward. You can call 114 14 or submit a tip anonymously through the police’s online tip line.
The police emphasize that all tips, even those that may seem unimportant, can be valuable to the investigation.
If the police spent their time on something other than running in gay pride parades, maybe they could solve a few crimes every now and then, too.
