Donald Trump made headlines on several fronts during the NATO summit. The U.S. president declared that the deal with Iran was over, threatened Spain with economic sanctions, and reignited the debate over Greenland by not ruling out military action.
Donald Trump He left few issues unaddressed when he met with the press during the NATO summit in The Hague. In addition to the growing conflict with Iran, he leveled sharp criticism at several of the U.S.’s allies and used the press conference to take a stand against both Spain and Denmark. Following the latest military attacks between the U.S. and Iran, Trump was asked whether the previous agreement with Tehran still stands, reports Associated Press (AP).
– That’s a very interesting question. As far as I’m concerned, I think it’s over. I don’t want anything to do with them, ," Trump said, and went on to launch a harsh attack on Iran's leadership, They're scum. They're sick people. They're led by sick people.
Trump also said that, in his view, continued engagement with Iran is pointless.
– As far as I'm concerned, dealing with them is just a waste of time.
Spain in Open Conflict
But Iran was far from the only target. Trump then turned his attention to Spain, which had opposed NATO’s goal of defense spending at five percent of GDP. He described the country as a ”terrible partner in NATO” and warned of economic consequences.
– We're negotiating a trade agreement with Spain. We're going to make them pay twice as much.
According to Reuters Trump also stated that he had instructed his administration to review trade relations with Spain. As a result, the disagreement over defense spending escalated into an open conflict during the summit.
Greenland Back in the Spotlight
Trump also returned to the issue of Greenland. When asked whether the U.S. could use military force to take control of the island, he replied:
– I'm not ruling it out. I'm not saying I'll do it, but I'm not ruling anything out.
At the same time, he justified his reasoning by citing the island’s strategic importance.
– We need Greenland for international security.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen once again rejected Trump's claim and replied:
– Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It is not for sale.
As the summit draws to a close, the headlines are therefore not primarily about NATO’s joint decisions. Instead, Trump’s deal with Iran, the open conflict with Spain, and the ongoing dispute over Greenland came to dominate the summit.

He's really lost it completely! Utalag
He's really lost it completely! Is it a sign of dementia? He's not well.
Yep,
Now the wheat is being separated from the chaff.
I hope that the whole bunch of them ends up unemployed now and that Trump can bring in some uncorrupted people instead.
Man, he's so tough—he actually dares to clean up that feminized rat's nest.
Will Sweden be able to join NATO when Germany finds out that the Swedish government can’t even protect its own ministers??? Johan F. and his underage son were exposed on websites affiliated with Expo, with all the details—implying that he abused the child, smashed windows in the home, vandalized the car, etc.
Säpo seems paralyzed… they’re so busy keeping tabs on me… hahaha
Their son Gustaf is the one with the guts in that family. Kudos to him.
Pride Johan & Tuffe Uffe—what a pair of CLOWNS.
Trump isn't all there—he lashes out wildly at everything and everyone. Why doesn't NATO kick this madman out, since he's threatening its own members?
