Opposition to the Social Democrats” plans to ”mix" residential areas is growing rapidly. A petition is now circulating against what it describes as an attempt to impose multiculturalism on Swedes - regardless of where they live in the country.
During the week, a new petition began circulating via the website compulsion.se. The campaign targets the Social Democrats' integration policies and proposals to change the composition of Swedish neighborhoods.
The initiative, run by the Sweden Democrat-affiliated think tank Oikos, has been widely publicized after several profiles drew attention to it on social media.
”Sign the petition against forced mixing too!”, writes the Swedish Democrat MEP Charlie Weimers on X.
”Don't you want your children to speak ’local Swedish’? Sign the petition below to stop the socialists” forced mixing", writes the Swedish Democrat parliamentary candidate Ponts Persson.
Criticism of the S plans is growing
The background is the growing debate about the Social Democrats” policy to create more ”mixed" residential areas, which in practice means pressuring immigrants to move into Swedish areas. The party's integration policy spokesperson Lawen Redar has previously highlighted proposals to build more rental apartments in residential areas to change the population composition of different areas.
Many see this as a way to push multiculturalism into areas that have so far been relatively unaffected by mass immigration. The issue is therefore no longer just about deprived areas, but about whether politicians should be able to change neighborhoods across the country through political decisions.
Criticism has also grown after several S representatives themselves said no to moving to the areas they want others to settle in. Anders Ygeman replied recently answered ”No” when asked if he would consider living in a disadvantaged area ”for the sake of integration”.
The petition is widely distributed
The issue of forced mixing has quickly become one of the most debated integration issues ahead of the elections. For many, the petition could be a way of protesting against increased political control of people's homes and against plans that are perceived to change Swedish neighborhoods without the support of residents.
While it will take more than that to stop the Socialist plans, this is one of several opportunities to show that there is concrete opposition.
Meanwhile, the debate continues about how far politicians can go to influence how and where people live.

I signed it right away.
And that Lawen Redar is a prime example of why foreigners should NOT be allowed to participate in Swedish politics.
Rather, a case for deportation back to Turkey or its neighborhood.
Those who hate Sweden and Swedes so much have no business here at all.
NO,
UT.
Exactly!
ONLY SWEDES IN THE RIKSDAG.
Redar & that horrible KAKABABA individual who forced S to pay Billions to her for her vote. Horrible individual who should be sent to EL SALVDOR or expelled from Svea rike immediately.
SWEDEN FIRST!!!
Signed!
Signed the petition.
To all Freedom Followers, please sign the petition, EASY & FLEXIBLE.
A petition is not enough. The Social Democrats should be labeled as socially dangerous enemies of the Swedes. The party should be banned and active socialists should be retrained in closed institutions.
If that is not enough, lobotomy and insane asylums are alternatives if re-education including forced reading of Mein Kampf is not enough to make the destructive socialist brains wise up
The forced mixing must be stopped at all costs, I don't understand how people can still vote for the socialist rats.
