In recent years, the Church of Sweden has significantly changed its view of marriage. First, it began performing same-sex weddings, and now it is launching a multi-year initiative on polyamory—relationships with multiple partners at the same time, or polygamy, as it is most commonly known. Will the Church’s view of marriage change further so that it is no longer limited to two people?
Earlier in October, the Church of Sweden presented a report on LGBTQ issues and polyamory—romantic relationships with multiple people at the same time. The report will serve as the basis for continued theological work through 2028. This means that over the next two years, the church will discuss the issue of marriage to more than one person based on Christian faith, the Bible, and church doctrine. A final report is to be presented in 2028, which may pave the way for further expansion of the definition of marriage.
Behind this is a motion from Linda Sjöö, The Left in the Church of Sweden (ViSK), which actively seeks to have the church’s traditional view of gender relations address issues related to LGBTQ orientations, as well as polyamory and asexuality (when a person feels little or no sexual attraction to other people).
The Final Blow to Christian Marriage?

The traditional Christian view of marriage is based on the union between a man and a woman. In the Gospel of Matthew 19:4–6, it is described that Christ how the two are united into a single entity. But in recent years, the Church of Sweden has moved away from this in favor of what is politically correct in society. In 2009, same-sex marriage was introduced. Now, relationships involving multiple simultaneous partners are also becoming the subject of theological consideration.
A traditional Christian view of polygamy/polyamory is that it is considered adultery, since a man and a woman do not commit themselves exclusively to one another. The report seeks to counter this view and attempts to justify it by arguing that such a relationship would be based on mutual agreements. This means that having sex with multiple partners should be considered acceptable, as long as everyone involved adheres to the ”agreements” that have been made.
Wants to break the ”taboos” surrounding polyamory
Martin Langby, who holds a doctorate in theology from Uppsala University, has prepared the report on behalf of the church. He hopes the material will change the way these issues are discussed.
– Many people see these as difficult issues. I hope this material can help make them less taboo and easier to talk about. Ultimately, it’s about people and their experiences, ", he says in the church's press release.
The report does not imply that there is any concrete proposal to allow polygamy. However, it does mean that the Church of Sweden has now opened the door to making it possible through its theological work.
This will likely not go unchallenged. Frihetsnytt recently reported on the 126 priests who demanded that the church retain the right to refuse to perform same-sex weddings. This shows that there is concrete resistance to the changes that politically correct forces are trying to push through. Eroding the institution of marriage to the extent that polygamy implies could very well lead to conflict.

You can really see how the demons have infiltrated the Church of Sweden.
Good thing I quit in the '70s.
It’s hardly the ”demons” (whose actual existence is questionable, as is their definition, which is highly unclear) that are haunting this place. Rather, it is the actual contempt for family inherent in hate speech that is rearing its ugly head …
But it is true that degeneration has increased significantly since World War II, both within the aforementioned ideology of hatred and within all existing ideologies of power, as evidenced by the total breakdown of every essential aspect of a functioning society.
Especially when it comes to
– mass immigration
– kakistocracy
– historical falsification
– anti-science
– feminism
– democracy
– censorship and baseless smear campaigns
– forced membership in criminal organizations
– macabre warmongering.
Most Christians seem to lack—or have only a very limited understanding of—what this hate doctrine is actually based on: the macabre antics of a psychopath and narcissist who is likely mentally ill, and whose entire modus operandi can be summed up as acting to exalt himself at the expense of his fellow human beings.
Whether or not the cult leader actually existed as a physical person remains unclear, but according to the fables and contradictory accounts in the propaganda writings, he was as great a failure in terms of success as his malicious doctrine of hatred is a moral failure for all people capable of reason and a heart that is not made of stone.
Long after the cult leader’s death, propagandists—whom he had managed to deceive into believing his repugnant nonsense—claimed that the failure among the ”chosen people” would lead to the downfall of the hate doctrine. Consequently, its target audience was redefined from the “chosen people” to “all peoples.”.
However, the contempt for both human life and the lives of thinking and sentient animals persisted in the Jewish sect leader’s repulsive, specious arguments. In this context, we recommend Lena Andersson’s infamous 2005 ”Sommar & vinter i P1” broadcast, which sparked strong reactions.

Try to read and understand the significance of the hate doctrine’s abhorrent crimes against the only true morality that exists: family morality! And realize that one could hardly imagine a better manual for deterring malicious cults than the one formulated in the so-called sacred text of the doctrine of hatred.

The Bible, Luke 14:26 (three different translations)
– “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—and even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.”.
“If anyone comes to me without hating his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—and even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.”.
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.”.
The Bible, Matthew 10:34–37 (two different translations)
– Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Yes, I have come to bring division, so that ’the son will rise up against his father, the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and each person will have members of his own household as enemies.’.
Whoever loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; …
– Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s own household will become his enemies.
Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

The Bible, Joshua 11:9
– And Joshua did to them as the LORD had commanded him: he had the tendons of their horses’ legs cut, and he had their chariots burned with fire.
The Bible, 2 Samuel 8:4
– And David captured from his people 1,700 horsemen and 20,000 foot soldiers; and David had the tendons of all the chariot horses cut, except for 100 horses, which he spared.
